A scholarship worth INR 24,81,385 per annum and other benefits
Irish Research Council, Ireland invites applications for the Government of Ireland Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme 2020 from PhD holders. This fellowship aims to support suitable eligible candidates for postdoctoral study at higher education institutions in Ireland. Selected fellows will receive an annual salary of EUR 31,275 and other benefits.
Irish Research Council, Ireland is offering this scholarship and the scholarship amount is being funded by the Government of Ireland.
To be eligible, an applicant must:
1.Be an international student
2.Have graduated or certified for the award of a doctoral degree
3.Have submitted the hardbound corrected thesis, within the recent five years between 31 May 2015 and 31 May 2020
The selected students will get the following awards:
1.A salary of EUR 31,275 per annum
2.Employer’s PRSI contribution of EUR 3,425 per annum
3.Employer’s pension contribution of EUR 6,255 per annum
4.Eligible direct research expenses of EUR 5,000 per annum.

1. Scholars must engage full-time in their scholarship during the funding term and not assume any other duties that would adversely affect the research.
2. From time to time, the Council will require the scholar to attend socio-academic events or meetings as arranged by the Council.
