In this field, as a designer, you have the power to shape the world in which we live in with your innovation. On the other side, design is also one of the most challenging, fast-moving, and visionary fields to work in, of course with the assurance of financial rewards. 1. UI/UX Designer:

Often mistaken as a Graphic Designer, UI/UX Designer's role is quite different. UX designers make websites, mobile applications, software or video games easier to navigate and more intuitive for users to interact with. They study and evaluate how people feel about a particular system and design their product to cater to the needs of the user. For example, a UX designer might work with a retailer to update their product webpages and remove issues like frustrating forms, hard-to-find buttons and visual clutter that can prevent users from making a purchase. The skills that are demanded in this area include Web programming languages (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS), UX Wireframes, Prototyping and so on.

 

2. Art Director:

A highly preferred profession by driven individuals, Art Directors are in charge of creating campaigns for advertisements, web designs, and animations, to name a few. They make designs, manage the layout, select the appropriate photographs and review all work that is sent in by the artist. Art Directors are also in charge of managing a team of designers, illustrators, animators, and copywriters to make sure that the final product is as the client desired. They communicate with clients while overseeing project budgets and timelines.

 

3. Animator:

The animation is a dazzling career option. These professionals create animations and special effects for movies, television, video games and other forms of media—both two-dimensional and three-dimensional. They work with teams of animators and artists to bring ideas to life using computer software or by writing their own computer code. Some work in studios or offices, but many are self-employed and work from home.

 

4. Interior Designer:

This career is for those people who are passionate about design and are artistic. Since this career involves designing homes/properties, and then executing those designs to create the environment that the client wants, the person should have excellent management and communication skills, as well as be creative with his/her work.

 

5. Product Designer:

The consumer market in India is blossoming with both national and international firms wooing Indian consumers with the most advanced, high-tech and innovative product offerings. A product designed to be aesthetically pleasing and functionally appealing will not only capture the attention of the consumers but also benefit the organization offering it. Here comes the role of a product designer, who is responsible for envisioning, imagining, conceptualizing and creating state-of-the-art products that people can use and cherish in their daily life.

 

6. Fashion Designer:

An evergreen in-demand sector in the design arena, the Fashion industry is big and promises to keep on growing in the coming years as well. If you have a penchant for creativity, style and originality, a career in fashion designing is the one tailor-made for you. However, it is also a demanding career, as fashion designers need to combine their creativity with managerial skills to sustain in this industry.

 

7. Video Game Designer:

With the recent wave of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), where almost all the teenagers and some adult as well are going crazy with this game, its maker - Brendan Greene also made good fame and name. Yes, he is a video game designer. Video game designer probably sounds like a dream job to any video game enthusiast, and if you can make it in the business, it comes with a pretty lucrative career path. As a video game designer, you will be responsible for the creation and implementation of creative designs alongside engineers, programmers, and artists.
