Registration starts for NEET counselling 2019

NEET 2019 counselling to start soon for over 7 lakh qualified candidates. Though National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted exams this year ,the counselling continues to be under the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The qualified students can apply online till 5 pm on June 24.

 

Earlier, the MCC had informed that the registration will begin from the morning of June 19. Then a notification was released to start the process from 4 pm and a new notice has been released stating that the registration and counselling process will begin from 5 pm. Around 6 pm another notice stating that the process will begin from 7 pm was displayed. Prima facia, the delay seems to be caused due to technical issues but the same has been causing anxiety among several aspirants who have been waiting for the same since morning.

Candidates who qualify need to upload their documents, select a preferable course and college. Based on their merit and preference, the result for seat allotment will be announced. If a candidate wishes to take admission, they can do so by paying fee else the seat will move on to next student and hence after three rounds of counselling and seat allotment the MBBS seats across India will be filled.
