Due to wide range of career options, B.Com still remains a most sought after course among students. In this article, we will discuss about the scope and career opportunities after B.Com

Even today, for most students, a BCom degree is the pathway to a career in chartered accountancy, which paves the way for high-paying jobs with a firm or to start one’s independent practice. It also creates the base for a flourishing career in the capital market or to pursue higher education, including an MBA in finance after clearing CAT and XAT.

Prospects include jobs in business management, corporate governance, actuarial science, marketing or supply chain management.

There is also great scope to bag reputed international certifications such as Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or a globally recognized qualification such as Chartered Financial Accountancy (CFA) that opens up your prospects abroad.

Other promising areas of career-building in the field include investment banking, stock broking, electronic marketing and funds management.
