Also, MCQ's carry negative marking, while for NAT questions no marks will be deducted for wrong attempts. All similar points outlined in the exam pattern of GATE has to be taken special note of. Remember, every extra mark you earn is going to count.
Jot down important topics and formulas, have a habit of jotting down points while preparing for exam .build your concepts, Do a periodic review of your preparation before the exam.
Notes can be 2 types:
a)conceptual notes (should be as short as possible) so you can recollect just before exams.
b)Formula book: write down formula with keywords and write down your mistakes while solving problems just opposite to it.
This will help you a lot before the examination.
Time management in the exam is mandatory. When solving a problem, see to it that you are picking up speed. One way of increasing speed is clearing concepts and remembering all important formulas. With good speed, you can save that extra second and can assign that time to some other problem. Second, do lots of practice.
As for accuracy, the candidate needs to be sharp and pay attention to the task at hand and not waver. Accuracy, like speed, also comes with lots of practice. Doing sample papers and taking mock tests are other effective ways to improve on these fronts.
Friends by only reading once or twice you can’t remember and recollect all subjects at the exam time. you have to revise at least 3 to 4 times one subject to get grip on it.
Last but not least...
Until and unless you believe in yourself no one can help you. Each and everyone has the same capability, success is not only scholar’s legacy.
HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU..!
ALL THE BEST!!
