Assam CEE 2019: Check syllabus, paper pattern, application fee, eligibility criteria

The last date to apply for Assam CEE 2019 is March 20, 2019 while the result will be declared on May 10.


The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has released the official notification of the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2019 on the official website - astu.ac.in. Interested candidates can apply for the examination directly through the official website. The last date to apply for CEE 2019 is March 20, 2019 while the result will be declared on May 10.


About CEE 2019:


CEE 2019 will be conducted on April 28, 2019 from 11 am to 2 pm for admission into BE/ BTech programme for the academic session 2018-2019 in the engineering colleges on the state.


As per the latest information, the admit card for CEE 2019 will be released on April 15, 2019.


CEE 2019: Application fee


Interested candidates will be required to pay the application fee of Rs 650.


CEE 2019: Syllabus and exam pattern


CEE-2019 will be based on the syllabus from Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC).


The exam paper will comprise of three sections - mathematics, physics and chemistry.


Each section of the question paper will carry 40 questions.


CEE 2019: Eligibility


The candidate must attain the qualifying marks in the physics, chemistry, mathematics and English with a minimum of 50 per cent.


Required qualifying marks for candidates belonging to SC category: 45 per cent


Required qualifying marks for candidates belonging to ST category: 40 per cent
